01 / 06Creativity is free.
For years, creative tools went from something you bought to something you rent. Stop paying and you lose access to your own work. Lucy is free for personal and commercial projects, on every device you own. No trial periods, no locked features and no fine print.
02 / 06Your work is yours.
You don’t need an account to open Lucy, or an internet connection to work. Your documents live on your disk, in a format that recovers if something goes wrong. Nobody else sees them, analyses them or uses them to train anything, unless you decide otherwise.
03 / 06Made with love.
Lucy isn’t a clone or a protest. We grew up with the tools that shaped us and we respect them, which is why the shortcuts you already know work the same way. Everything else we thought through again, from the graphics engine to the place of every tool. We’re not trying to look like anyone; we’re trying to help you work better.
04 / 06The canvas is the interface.
Every panel on screen is space taken from your work. That’s why Lucy fits in a nine-key bar, tucks its panels away when you don’t need them, and lets the canvas take everything else.
05 / 06AI collaborates; it doesn’t replace.
Almost everything an AI generates today is a flat image you can only accept or reject. In Lucy, AI works with the same layers and vectors you do, and every step stays in your history. And you choose which intelligence to work with: connect the assistant you prefer or, later on, a model that runs on your own machine. Lucy doesn’t impose any of them, and the last word is always yours.
06 / 06Fast, because your time matters.
A slow tool doesn’t just make you wait; it breaks your focus. We built our own graphics engine on the GPU so that panning, zooming and painting happen instantly, even with huge files and on modest machines.
